А II Св. Гол. Светлоголубой
A high-quality semi-gloss Soviet early-WW2 aircraft under-surface light blue acrylic or enamel paint for scale models and historical miniatures.
A II Sv. Gol. Light Blue Color Guide:
- An authentic Soviet Air Force early-WW2 aircraft under-surface light blue color (Rus: Светлоголубой [svʲɪˈtloɡɐˈlubəj], meaning literally: Light Blue).
- А II Св. Гол. Светлоголубой was introduced in 1940 for the lower-surface camouflage of Soviet aircraft. Upper surfaces were painted А II Защ. Защитный in accordance with this camouflage pattern.
- As with most "A II" paints, A II Sv. Gol. Light Blue was used only for wooden or fabric parts of the plane. Metal parts were painted with its enamel analog А-18ф Голубая.
- In 1941, the А II Св. Гол. Светлоголубой was replaced by its successor АМТ-7 Голубая which was widely used for the lower surface aircraft camouflage until the end of WW2.
