RAL 7037 Dusty Gray Color Guide:

• RAL 7037 Staubgrau is the closest modern analog of the WW2 Kriegsmarine Dunkelgrau paint, which was used to paint the bow and stern of warships camouflaged according to the Baltic scheme.
• RAL 7037 Staubgrau was applied to the camouflage of modern German aircraft according to the Norm 81 scheme used in the 1980s-1990s. It was intended to apply camouflage patches on the upper surfaces together with RAL 7009 Grüngrau, RAL 7012 Basaltgrau, and RAL 7039 Quarzgrau. The lower surfaces, according to this scheme, were camouflaged in RAL 7001 Silbergrau and RAL 7009 Grüngrau, and the fuselage sides were painted in RAL 7030 Steingrau.
• RAL 7037 Dusty Gray is applicable in aircraft camouflage according to the Ukrainian Gray Pixel scheme. It is used to apply dark gray spots on the upper surfaces. For even darker spots RAL 7043 Traffic Gray В is assumed, and for lighter patches RAL 7040 Window Gray and RAL 7038 Agate Gray respectively. The lower surfaces are to be painted RAL 7001 Silver Gray and the radomes in RAL 7005 Mouse Gray.
