RAL 6007 Green Color Guide:

• RAL 6007 Grün Nr. 28 was implemented by the directive H.Dv. 488/1 of 20 April 1933.
• RAL 6007 Green was used for multi-color camouflage of pre-World War II German combat vehicles such as cannons, pontoons, rubber dinghies, tractors, tank dummies, automobiles, and horse-drawn vehicles. In addition to Grün Nr. 28, the colors Erdgelb Nr. 17 and Braun Nr. 18 were also proposed for use in this camouflage scheme, or Buntfarbenanstrich. Schwarz Nr. 5 could also be used as a border color around the camouflage blotches. The use of this camouflage was discontinued in July 1937.
• RAL 6007 Green may also have been used for camouflage painting of German vehicles during World War II as a substitute for RAL 6003 Olivgrün.
• RAL 6007 Grün or simply Moosgrün (Moss Green) was also widely used in the 1930s and 1940s as the color of equipment, gas masks, cooking utensils, flasks, ammunition boxes, etc.
