Kaki
A high-quality semi-gloss French aircraft khaki acrylic or enamel paint for aircraft scale models and creative work.
Khaki Color Guide:
- Kaki was a dull olive-drab color used primarily to paint French aircraft during WW2. It was very reminiscent of the US Olive Drab used at the time.
- Kaki was sometimes used in multi-color aircraft camouflage schemes introduced in 1938. In addition to Kaki, these schemes also used Brun Foncé and Gris-Bleu Foncé for the upper surfaces of the aircraft. The lower surfaces were painted Gris Bleu Clair or Gris Bleu Ciel.
- Beginning in 1942, Kaki was used to paint the upper surfaces of French aircraft finished in a new single-color camouflage.
