Dark Green Color Guide:

• An authentic post-WWII dark green camouflage color of Soviet aircraft. This color (Rus: Tyomnozelonaya [ˈtʲɵmnəzʲɪlʲɪnəjə], meaning literally: Dark Green), was introduced in the 1970-ies along with multi-color camouflage schemes of ground attack and fighter aircraft.
• Along with Dark Green, the multi-color tactical aviation camouflage scheme usually consisted of 4 upper surface colors and included Pesochnaya (Sand), and sometimes Svetlozelyonaya (Light Green), Buraja (Brown), Svetlopesochnaya (Light Sand), and Ryjaya (Ginger Red) depending on the operational area. The under surfaces were painted in Serogolubaya (Grey Blue) or Svetlogolubaya (Light Blue).
  
• Dark Green camouflage color is applicable for painting such aircraft as MiG-21, Su-17, Su-22, Su-25, etc.
