Dark Green Color Guide:

• An authentic post-WWII dark green camouflage color of Soviet aircraft. This color (Rus: Тёмнозеленая [ˈtʲɵmnəzʲɪlʲɪnəjə], meaning literally: Dark Green), was introduced in the 1970-ies along with multi-color camouflage schemes of ground attack and fighter aircraft.
• Along with Dark Green, the multi-color tactical aviation camouflage scheme usually consisted of 4 upper surface colors and included Песочная (Sand), and sometimes Светлозеленая (Light Green), Бурая (Brown), Светлопесочная (Light Sand), and Рыжая (Ginger Red) depending on the operational area. The under surfaces were painted in Сероголубая (Grey Blue) or Светлоголубая (Light Blue).
  
• Dark Green camouflage color is applicable for painting such aircraft as MiG-21, Su-17, Su-22, Su-25, etc.
