EMA 8010-1 Black 112-212 Color Guide:

• EMA 8010-1 Black 112-212 was widely used for aircraft markings, BuNos, formation codes, and stencils beginning in the late 1970s.
  
• EMA 8010-1 Black 212 was also widely applicable for painting the propeller blades on Brazilian aircraft.
• EMA 8010-1 Preto 212 was applicable for painting anti-glare panels as well.
• Transport and maritime patrol aircraft of the Brazilian Air Force and Naval Aviation were usually civilian painted, keeping the airframe in its natural metallic color, while the upper part of the aircraft was usually painted Branco Insígnia 205 with a cheatline in the color EMA 8010-1 Preto 212. Sometimes dark blue Azul Escuro 250 could be used for the cheatline.
• EMA 8010-1 Black 212 was also used for the radomes and radio-transparent panels on Brazilian Air Force and Marine aircraft.
