A II Kr. Red Color Guide:

• An authentic Soviet WW2 aircraft insignia red color (Rus: КрAсный [ˈkrasnɨj], meaning literally: Red).
• The A II Kr. Krasny color was widely used in the Soviet Air Force for the painting of aircraft insignia, roundels, stencils, and markings from the second half of the 1930s.
• A II Kr. Krasny was also widely used for painting victory marks, gift inscriptions, and nose art on Soviet aircraft in the middle of WW2.
• Note that A II Kr. Krasny was applied on only wooden or mixed-construction aircraft, while all-metal aircraft insignia was painted with its analog A-13 Krasnaya (Red).
