Keltainen
A high-quality semi-gloss WW2 Finnish ID yellow acrylic or enamel paint for scale models and creative work.
Finnish Yellow Color Guide:
- Keltainen (Finnish: Keltainen [ˈmustɑ], meaning literally: yellow) is an Inca Gold color mostly used for identification markings during WW2.
- Keltainen was used for identification markings on Finnish aircraft during World War II, starting in 1941. Yellow was the standard IFF color of Axis aircraft on the Western Front. Finnish aircraft, following these regulations, usually had yellow engine cowls, fuselage bands and wingtips (on the underside) painted Keltainen.
- Keltainen was also used extensively for applying tactical badges and aircraft numbers, markings, stencils, etc.
