Used for painting:

• Camouflage for Luftwaffe fighters in conjunction with RLM 74 (1941)
• RLM 74 Dark Gray was also used in a transitional fighter camouflage scheme at the end of World War II, consisting of RLM 75 and RLM 83 Dunkelgrün on the upper surfaces with RLM 76 on the lower surfaces. This was due to the lack of stocks of RLM 82 at some German aircraft factories in late 1944 and early 1945.
