Musta
A high-quality semi-gloss WW2 Finnish deep black acrylic or enamel paint for scale models and creative work.
Finnish Black Color Guide:
- Musta (Finnish: Musta [ˈmustɑ], meaning literally: olive green) is a dark deep-black color applied to aircraft camouflage during WW2.
- Musta was primarily used in a two-color black and green camouflage scheme introduced in 1940 for Finnish aircraft. This scheme was the most widely used camouflage for Finnish aircraft from 1940 to 1947. As the green color for this scheme, Oliivin Vihreä was used.
- Musta was also widely used for markings, stencils, aircraft codes, etc. As for tactical aircraft codes, Musta was used for markings applied over olive green camouflage patches. And vice versa, olive green was used for aircraft codes on black camouflage patches.
